Artist Biography
Shahla loved art from early childhood. Her father was an amateur painter, and tried to transfer his gift to her. She won several national prizes in her teenage years, and this recognition inspired her to pursue painting as a career despite family opposition.
She moved to Europe where she could explore art further and paint in the manner she wished. She studied at the kunst Academy in Dusseldorf, Germany, and then at the Instituto Europeo in Florence as well as in Southern California. While in Europe and United States of America, her work was displayed in several successful exhibitions and appeared in catalogues, newspapers and books.
